So, after just getting back from a no kids short vacation with the hubby, I need to tell you about Artist Point. In a nutshell it was an awesome experience. I ordered the prime rib dish and it was very good. The appetizers had to be adjusted due to my severe allergy to fish and shellfish but the tomato salad they brought was quite yummy. Our server was a sweetheart and he worked his legs off as well as the others I watched roll through the dining area. We had not planned to do a character dining on this particular day of our trip but the park was crowded for a Monday and we were starving. My hubby checked dining options for us on our cell phone my disney experience app where Storybook Dining at Artist Point popped up for a 4pm spot and we grabbed it.
I knew we could take the boats over so we enjoyed that lovely short ride past the Contemporary resort to the beautiful Wilderness Lodge. My goal is to stay there one day and report back on my experiences to all of you. The walk down to the resort is beautiful there are no words to do it justice. The sights the smells the perfectly situated buildings are magical to see with your own eyes so be sure to do that. The Wilderness Lodge resort is worth the boat ride over and a break away from a noisy park. Our entire dining experience was worth the money we paid for it so go check it out. Please go watch and subscribe to my vlogs on youtube to watch it. You will not be disappointed in this character dining experience.
